Seb is retiring. This is actually a very unexpected thing. Vettel is not old. Although we often say that he is an elderly driver, in fact, Vettel is only two years older than Perez and Ricardo. One year older, far younger than Hamilton (38) and Alonso (41), and younger than Kimi when he retired. With Vettel in his current state, he can continue to fight for 4-5 years. His physical fitness, speed and judgment are far from declining. But he does have to go and drive the F1 paddock where he has been fighting since 2007. He said he wanted to spend more time with others and become a good father. He would miss the degree and passion in F1. But I think he is ultimately tired. He can no longer find the joy of driving F1 despite continuous setbacks. Perhaps he should really leave. Behind him, young people are rising. In fact, the 2007 drivers are interesting, and I can say that I love and hate them. These include Seb and Lewis, both of whom are obviously talented and have an absolutely dominant appearance; but perhaps it is the legacy of the times, or perhaps it is the control brought by a certain identity. No matter how pure they are, they are no longer just fighting for racing cars: they use hot political topics to make themselves famous, and cover themselves with a clear coat of ring-collar, anti-discrimination, and support for LGBT politics. I won’t discuss whether this behavior is true or not, but at least we don’t respect Lewis and Seb for these reasons. They have wonderful watches on the court, isn’t that enough? Anyway, peace, Sebastian Vettel. The world belongs to young people after all: purer, more enthusiastic young people.
