Sharan’s third-generation EA888 engine oil pan finally leaks. Replace the aluminum alloy oil pan.
Sharang 2.0T380
The plastic oil pan of the Volkswagen EA888 engine, which had only been maintained and replaced for more than a month, finally began to leak.
I wonder if the sensor is also leaking.
I had a premonition that the plastic oil pan would leak, so I bought a second-hand forged aluminum alloy oil pan at a high price long ago.
It’s not a cheap one.
The processing is still good.
RUNTEK seems to be a good card.
Install titanium alloy oil drain screws with magnets.
The gasket is processed by myself with silicone plate.
The gasket feels that it is well processed.
Pull out the oil dipstick and open the fuel cap.
Pull out the oil dipstick and open the oil cap to drain the oil.
Tighten the screws with 10 Nm for the installed aluminum alloy oil pan.
For the installed oil level sensor, tighten the screws with 10 Nm. I wonder if it will leak after a long time.
Just in time, I replaced the torque rod (magic stick) for the GTS third-generation gearbox for Sharan and the rubber grip stopper for the GTS Yuanbao beam machine purchased before the Spring Festival.
