2015 Mercedes-Benz E260L, 12 W-kilometer maintenance record. This replacement (cycles/kilometers): transmission oil (60,000 kilometers), spark plug (50,000 kilometers), differential oil (120,000 kilometers).

Prepare before replacement, check whether the transmission oil pipe leaks, etc.

When the gearbox was opened, the gearbox oil was relatively clean, but after the kilometer count, it was replaced.

There are 6 liters in the oil pan, and the old oil is still clean.

The torque converter has 3 liters in, and the oil draining is very slow. Two people are needed to cooperate. One person turns the engine and the other person checks whether the torque converter screws are exposed. Although the operation is complicated, the oil change is clean in this way.

Because my car was 120,000 kilometers long (the oil pan was not removed from the 60,000-kilometer cycle machine), I still chose to replace it with gravity. When it was removed, the oil pan was still relatively dirty and had a lot of sludge, so the master cleaned it for me.

The repair shop prepared 9 liters of transmission fluid. Special reminder that gravity replacement must drain the oil in the torque converter. Anything that cannot add 9 liters means that the manufacturer is suspected of being lazy.

Changing differential oil, the date is relatively fresh and not bad.

When 1 liter of differential oil is released and 1 liter is added, the old oil has been used for 12W kilometers and has turned into mud-!, Reminds you that you must replace it every 6-8 kilometers. Don’t ignore this problem.

Replace the NGK spark plug.

The old spark plug leaked a little (the ceramic yellow part), resulting in high fuel consumption and insufficient power. I wanted to remove it for 5W kilometers, but I decisively replaced it in this case. I felt that the spark plug had been replaced with a fake. I took it out. Compared with the old spark plug replaced by the factory, it was newer than the one I replaced. In addition, I used a looking glass to see the carbon deposits in the cylinder block, and it was generally cleaner (usually not violent driving).
Summary: It took a total of 3 and a half hours, 9 liters of transmission oil, 1 liter of differential oil, and 4 spark plugs; the manufacturer issued a warranty document for 3 years or 60,000 kilometers. Overall, it was still good. After replacing it, I felt that my power had regained and was much better than before.
