This is the first time I replaced the car battery.

It was said that it was difficult to replace the battery for the GL8, so I placed an order online. Varta 80D26R, the battery price was 320, and the working hours were 80. As a result, because I am not in the urban area, the master refused to provide door-to-door services. Alas ~ What should I do? I can only brace myself and go on myself. So after using various strategies on Baidu Douyin, I found that changing the battery was easier than changing the light bulb ~
Two people work together to do it well (one pulls the fuse box and wiring harness, and the other installs the battery)

Prepare the tools first. The 10#ring wrench and the 10#sleeve are the main force. Of course, it will never be possible without the 13#sleeve.

What needs to be removed: battery electrode (negative first and then positive 10#fuse box (both clips)-fuse box base (2 nuts and 1 bolt 10#)-computer board (2 nuts and 1 bolt 10#)-wiring harness bracket (2 nuts 10#)-glass kettle spout (1 nut 10#)-directional oil pot (2 nuts 10#)-battery firmware (1 nut 13#).

Remove the cover of the fuse box first, and then pull the fuse box out of the base. There are several buttons around it. Then the circles were filled with 10#ring wrenches. After observing slowly, there were only a few screws.

Loosen the clip of the wiring harness to create maximum space for battery entry and exit space

Remove the glass kettle spout with only one screw. Remove the screws and pull out the spout.

Remove the steering oil pot as well,

Wrap the battery positive pole.

Cut off this bolt and punch a hole. This little thing is too in the way. I really didn’t want to change it, so I had to slowly carry the battery to find the direction.

If you do it yourself, you can clean it up cleanly.

This bolt (No. 13 sleeve) is okay here. The stainless steel is easy to remove. Spray all removed bolts and nuts with rust remover to avoid embarrassment during next removal.

If it bleeds, it can be loaded
