Repair the one-button start switch

For more than ten years, from my first car, Dongfeng Citroen Fukang 16V, to Shanghai Volkswagen’s 2011 Tour ‘an, I have personally modified and maintained it myself. Among them, what impressed me most is the search for imported or original factory parts everywhere. Even if the parts of these two cars are imported originally, they are not particularly expensive, but the quality is indeed much better than brand parts and sub-factory parts.
Now, the situation is different with Sharang. First of all, Sharang’s original parts are extremely expensive, so expensive that I, as an original factory controller, have begun to turn my attention to subsidiary parts.
But now our country is really different from the past. The country is strong, its economy is developed, and its industrial level is not low. Domestic cars can also compete with joint-venture cars, so I think the auxiliary factory parts are better than before?
The answer is yes. Some of Sharan’s accessories can only be found online as proof. Even the sellers praise the deputy factory parts.
My car has only been more than three years and 50,000 kilometers. Now, the one-button start switch on the car sometimes has to be pressed two or three times to start. A cyclist told me that this is also a common problem for Sharan…
However, Sharan’s switch is too easy to disassemble and replace, and it is easy to replace.
So I planned to find one and keep it in hand. The original imported online cost more than 400 yuan, and the domestic one only cost a few dozen yuan. I bought a domestic one, and the seller directly told me that it was a sub-factory part, saying that the quality was very good and the warranty was guaranteed for one year. Hehe! There is no warranty for original parts!
Anyway, it’s only a few dozen yuan, so buy one and come back and have a look.
I received it today. I can see that the packaging is properly counterfeit subsidiary parts of SAIC Volkswagen, so the domestic original parts are definitely not, nor are they brand parts. They should be considered high-quality imitation, right?
However, the workmanship is really good on the outside, and it is not worse than the imported ones. The feel and strength of the buttons are no different. Have our country’s industrial level been realized? Haha!
The workmanship is really good!
As for whether it is durable, I think no matter how bad this thing is, it should be no problem to use it for two years. Even if this thing costs tens of yuan is replaced once a year, it will be more cost-effective than the original imported one.
Put it on the car and try it out. It really works!
There is basically no difference between the original factory and the subsidiary factory
When I saw this replaced original switch, I threw it away. It should not be too worn out after three years of use, so I decided to take it apart and take a look. Maybe it would still work after cleaning the contacts.
It was found that it was fixed by four clips and two metal sheets, so I first lifted off the two metal sheets
There are four such clips around the switch housing. When they are slightly lifted, the switch will be separated from the front and back.
Disassembled switch
There should be a problem with the four contacts on it, so I wiped it with alcohol
I wiped this one too
It’s really easy to use when assembled and loaded!
