The car has been used for such a long time, and there is no air conditioner filter element. Every time I blow, the air smells very bad. The weather is slowly getting hotter and I have used the air conditioner for many times, so I want to install the air conditioner filter element.
The air conditioning filter element of the Middle East version of the V97 is located behind the passenger storage box. However, the Middle East version of the V97 has reduced the allocation of the air conditioner filter. There is no square hole for installing the air conditioner filter, and it is directly sealed. However, the material baffle is not too thick, about 1 mm, and can be easily cut with a paper cutting blade.
Install and replace the air conditioning filter element:
1、 First open the co-driver’s storage box and empty the storage box. Secondly, remove the damping lever on the left side of the storage box and push the damping lever outward (otherwise, if you use too much force when unloading the storage box, it may damage the storage box. The damping lever seat on the left side), mine has been damaged, but it has been repaired and will not affect its use;
2、 At the same time, push (squeeze) the left and right side walls of the storage box inwards, so that the left and right hanging ears exit the fixed slot holes. The storage box can be turned downward by about 90 degrees and completely disengaged, so that the position where the air conditioning filter element is installed is completely exposed, and it is convenient to cut the baffle to form a rectangular hole, which is convenient to install and install the air conditioning filter element;
(Recommendation: Shorten the lugs on the left and right sides of the storage box by 1.5-2 mm respectively (can be cut off). The plastic is easy to cut off, but don’t cut too much. Polish it with fine sandpaper to make it easier to remove the storage box);
3、 The air conditioning filter element is installed by two small screws on the upper left and lower right, but only clear holes are reserved in that position, so there is no way to fix it with screws, or it is fixed with carpentry screws. However, this is probably not repeated a few times, and the threads will be damaged. The best way is to turn the two light holes into M4 screw holes, and it is better to use M4 screws to fix them directly. I have purchased the inner and outer wires of the M4-M6 online and am going to transform these two light holes.
This time, double-sided tape is used temporarily to fix it first. It is to paste a piece of double-sided tape the size of a fingernail on the inner surface of the corresponding round hole position of the air conditioning filter element, directly push the air conditioning filter element in, and stick it with double-sided tape.
Repair the installed damping rod seat, pull out the damping rod, lift the storage box to the appropriate position, and put the damping rod on the damping rod seat. The damping bar is easy to load and unload. When unloading the storage box, first remove the damping bar and push it outwards!
