Open the cover and place it nearly vertically for easier construction. Remove the empty filter shell and air intake pipe above. There are no screws, just pull it up directly.

Each ignition coil has two E8 hexagonal Torx screws, and the air intake pipe of the air-filtered engine is one E10 hexagonal Torx screw, one on the left and right. After removing the air inlet, plug the air inlet with gloves or other things to prevent foreign objects from falling in.

The wire plug of each ignition coil does not actually need to be unplugged. When the clip on the fuel injection nozzle tube is removed, it feels difficult to unplug the plug, and the stroke taken to pull it out is enough.

Remove the ignition coil screws. Be careful when pulling them out. You cannot directly pull out the square above. You need to reach down and pull hard, and hold the square with one hand.

Use force at this position, otherwise the ignition coil may be broken.

Pull out all ignition coils and use a high-pressure air gun to blow air into the spark plug hole. Do not blow continuously, blow it several times at a time. If there is any foreign matter, blow it out to prevent the spark plug from falling into the cylinder when it is taken out

The next step is to remove the spark plug, using a 14-gauge mid-flying sleeve and a 125-mm mid-flying adapter rod, which is just the right length.

After removing one spark plug, install one spark plug. After installing all six spark plugs, use a torque wrench to tighten the torque. 23NM

Coat each ignition coil with original Mercedes insulating grease

Install the ignition coil, and the screw torque of E8 is 9NM.

The spark plug on the original car is the same model as the doctor I bought. I thought the one on the car was NGK, which is exactly the same. The six spark plugs burn well. If there is black and carbon deposit on the spark plug head, you need to replace the corresponding cylinder fuel injector.

All the removed plastic parts were put back in reverse, the spark plug was replaced, and the ignition was normal during the test run, and there were no missing cylinders. completed
