Problems: The upper and lower seals of the A air filter box are not tight, one upper and lower fixing screw is slipped, and the mouth of one Phillips screw is scratched.
B. The two upper and lower rubber sleeves fixed on the outside of the air filter box on the body are aging, causing unstable fixation and loose when opened. I used a wide-mouth beverage bottle lid to make a pressing gasket, which was barely able to fix it.

Alternative repair of empty filter box: Option 1 uses a nut base AB glue to fix it on the base. Option 2: Put plastic expansion nuts in the hollow space of the base and fix them, and replace T25 short screws. Add rubber sleeves for upper and lower fixing holes.

Simple fixed solution
The screw corners are a little blurred

Previously, I used a DIY gasket for the lid of a wide-mouth beverage bottle to fix it easily

The aging rubber sleeve at the upper part has withstood the high temperatures of the engine compartment for more than ten years
The empty filter box is easier to use when removed. The gearbox floor mats seem to have been replaced in 2013, and the logo is still very new.

After the empty filter box is removed, clean the bottom. You can see that the rubber sleeve underneath has softened into a pool of black rubber.

The rubber sleeves purchased on T-Bao are very soft. They are two pairs for 10 yuan. Install one pair and spare one pair.

I bought a box of fuses and electrical tape

New rubber shock-absorbing rubber sleeves are added to the top and bottom

I put up a reflective strip of German flavor

Finished condition, color and ignition cylinder line match well
The weather was hot, so there was no engine cover installed
The main purchased parts are: screws, rubber sleeves, and the working time is 30 minutes.
