Lights are the language of the vehicle, and some lights are related to driving safety. When driving, turning on the right turn signal signal, I suddenly find that the turn signal signal light is flashing rapidly. This means that a certain turn signal on the right side is not on. The instrument also prompts to check the right front turn signal.

Nowadays, car light failures actually prompt a specific light bulb, which feels full of technology.

The turn signal is related to driving safety, so I immediately went to the local Auto Parts City to buy a light bulb. The front turn signal signal of the Touan L is a halogen light bulb with the model number PWY24W. It’s really expensive for 30 yuan each in Auto Parts City.

Although it was raining, I had to replace the car in the rain because I needed to use it later.

The turn signal of the Touan L is inside this dust cover.

Remove the dust cover and you can see the turn signal socket.

The lock can be unlocked by twisting the lamp holder in the direction of the arrow.

Then pull out the lamp holder together with the bulb. The lamp holder of the Touan L is connected by wires. Some vehicles rely on contact connections to make it easier.

Remove the bulb from the holder. The bulb is held in place by these two snaps on the holder.

Take out a new light bulb. This kind of light bulb is very special and has not been seen before.

Compare old and new light bulbs. The cylindrical ones are from the original car, and the round ones are the newly purchased ones. The diameter is a little larger and they almost can’t fit into the headlights.

The light bulb needs to be wiped with alcohol to remove the grease and extend its service life.

Install the new bulb on the lamp holder first, and then press the lamp holder into the headlight.

Finally, don’t forget to put on the dust cover.

The light on test was successful, and the fault alarm on the meter disappeared.

It is inevitable that you will encounter some minor problems during the process of maintaining a car. Some problems can be solved by yourself, which not only saves time but also saves money.
