The old LaCrosse at home has reached its annual maintenance time again. This time, I tried to solve the common problem. Thank you to all forum bosses for posting posts about repairing the common problem, so that I was able to solve these problems.
This time, we mainly replaced the oil filter, four-wheel brake leather, front and lower arm rubber, repaired the oil leakage of the valve cover pad, and the linkage problem of the trunk wiring harness and the high beam lights.

The rubber sleeve aged and cracked. It was removed and replaced with a new one.

Got a new one and installed it

Oil leaks. Remove it and glue it again.

After taking apart the valve cover, the master shoveled all the original sealant. He didn’t know much about the valve working conditions. After taking off the safeguard, he had been fully synthetic engine oil. In the past two or three years, he used Shuimei 5W30 purchased by a certain Dongguo Global.

Apply glue and install it, wash the oil that leaked before, and check if it leaks behind it.

For this broken cord, the master used an extension cord to put it into the rubber sleeve and connected it. The problem was solved

This time, I basically removed the light switch according to the forum post. The actual problem I encountered was mainly removing the wiring harness without damage. My hands were disabled, so I finally asked the maintenance master to remove the wiring harness. In other aspects, pay more attention to various buckles.

Previously, reading forum posts gave me the feeling that the worn part was very big. When I took it out, it was too small. It was only half the size of a fingernail. After wiping the worn part clean, I applied some AB glue and pasted some cardboard.

Okay, I had a bad hand, so I put the hard paper on it and went to lunch while waiting for the glue to dry. The problem was solved after I reinstalled it.

Finally, I attach the price list. This time I brought the oil with me. I tried Castrol’s black pole protector. Since I couldn’t take photos of other places when removing the light switch, everyone has seen many routine actions such as changing the oil and brake pads. That’s it, haha
