Cleaning of carbon deposit on Mingrui intake system

The last time I went to the store for maintenance, I specially tested the opening of the throttle. Although the opening of the throttle did not reach the limit, it seemed a little too large. I have always adhered to the principle of washing for healthier health. Over the weekend, I decided to clean the carbon deposits on the air intake system myself, and also check the air filter element and replace it.

Check the engine compartment and prepare to start cleaning the throttle valve. In the north of autumn, the weather is dry and windy, and the engine compartment is very dirty.

First use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screws of the air filter box.

Open the filter element box and you will see the air filter.

Check if the air filter is very dirty and there is still some dust on it, which can easily increase the intake resistance, reduce the engine power, increase fuel consumption, and easily produce carbon deposits.

You can see that there is a circle of black dirt around the throttle. These dirt are carbon deposits and increase the throttle opening.

Look at this is wiped off dirt, black and slightly gelatinous.

After wiping, you can see that the black dirt on the throttle surface has been cleaned away, but the oil-gas mixture adheres to the periphery of the intake port.

Simply wipe with a paper towel and you can see the dirt that has been wiped off.

Clean the dust in the air filter box below and simply wipe it with a towel.

The old air filter element has absorbed a lot of black particles and it seems that it should be replaced.

This is a new air filter. It seems that it can be replaced once a year.

Install the new air filter completely in the filter box.

Finally, use three fixing sockets in front of the filter element cover, insert them firmly and tighten the screws firmly.

In this way, the cleaning of the intake system has basically been completed.

This is the original gasoline detergent.

Add 50ML of gasoline detergent to each tank of oil, which can effectively clean the carbon deposits adsorbed on oil injection nozzles, spark plugs, intake valves, etc.

Add gasoline detergent to the fuel tank.

Just fill up the fuel tank, and you can effectively clean it while driving, which is very convenient. After several days of cleaning, the experience is that the idle speed is more stable, the fuel consumption is reduced, the acceleration is more powerful, and the cleaning effect is very obvious.
