After being clean for a period of time, I didn’t turn on the stereo one day, and I found a new noise. During the bumpy road, there was an intermittent noise in the rearview mirror of the car. What on earth is going on? Later, after inspection, it was found that there was a gap between the recorder I installed and the original rearview mirror, so there would be a little noise when the road was bumpy.

When it comes to the bumpy road, there will be a strange noise.

It took several times to find out why.

It turned out that there was only a sponge in the place of the bayonet.

The central position is empty.

So there will be a noise.

This recorder of mine is a rearview mirror type driving recorder installed by myself after buying a car. Two rubber straps were tied to the rearview mirror of the original car, and a sponge pad was also installed at the mouth of the bayonet, but the central part was empty and there was a certain gap between the rearview mirror and the original rearview mirror, and the tightness of the rubber strap was not enough, so there was still a noise. After finding the reason, I have been thinking about how to solve it, and the solution is to add a sponge in the middle gap to solve the abnormal noise caused by the vibration. The scheme is well designed, but the key is that suitable sponges are not easy to find. The sponges on hand are white and creamy, the recorder and the rearview mirror of the original car are black, adding a white sponge in the middle will be very eye-catching and looks uncoordinated, so I have been looking for a suitable sponge. Until a few days ago, when buying a sunshade cosmetic mirror, the seller wrapped the cosmetic mirror with two black sponges to protect it. The cosmetic mirror came to my hand safely, and the sponge really brightened my eyes, and the size of the sponge was more suitable to be padded behind the recorder. This is the place where there is no place to break iron shoes, and it takes no effort to get them.

This time, use a sponge to cover the middle.

After installing the sunshade cosmetic mirror, I then put the sponge between the recorder and the rearview mirror of the original car. This is not difficult, first take off the two rubber straps of the recorder, then fold the sponge up and down in half to increase the thickness of the sponge, then pad it between the two bayonets of the recorder, fix it, and then tie the two straps in turn, and finally adjust the position of the rearview mirror recorder to the right position. The position of this rearview mirror recorder should not be too much on the driver’s side, otherwise the picture captured by the camera will not be directly in front of the car, and there will be some shift to the left, so using this recorder will have a little impact on observing the rear vehicle with the inner rearview mirror, but more cooperation with the left and right rearview mirror can solve this problem. It is said that this recorder has been used for more than 3 years and is still working hard to stick to its post, so although I bought a new recorder, I did not replace it. This is also to carry forward the spirit of diligence and thrift, hard work and plain living! After all the installation and adjustment, immediately drive to test, specially find a relatively bumpy road for testing, the abnormal noise of the rearview mirror recorder is basically gone, and then there is the noise of the tire and the sound of the engine, and this construction is a complete success.
