My 2015 Mazda CX-5 2.0 manual version ran 141000 km from November 2016 to December 2019. I vaguely remember that when the spark plug was removed and replaced with ruthenium alloy, the noise was reduced, the low torsion was increased, and the fuel consumption was slightly reduced, but with the increase of mileage, the comparison with the original spark plug gradually blurred. Only for one thing, my car still saves fuel. But I should also consider the feeling of spark plug, should I let him retire?
When the master removed the spark plug, I felt that the spark plug was kept really well. Check with the stopper, the ignition distance still did not change, except that the horizontal needle of the outer electrode showed some signs of ablation, but the visual reduction distance may not be more than 0.02 mm. Of course, it’s normal to have some carbon on the spark plug.
I installed and used the spark plug of the original car that I had removed before. After feeling more than 200 kilometers for two days, I felt that the noise was obviously lower than that of ruthenium alloy, which ran 135000 kilometers, but the performance of ruthenium alloy in terms of fuel consumption still seemed to be better than that of ruthenium alloy. Waiting for further observation.
The preliminary conclusion is that no matter how good the spark plug is, it is best not to exceed the mileage recommended by the original factory. Although the durability of ruthenium alloy and iridium needles is worth affirming, there are other elements in the composition of the spark plug, among which the ceramic surface has been used for a long time. Whether its insulation characteristics can still perform so well is a problem. Qualified riders can test the insulation value of the two and draw a conclusion.

The following are some of the NGK and Denso models that I have mastered that are suitable for Chuangchi Blue Sky for reference. There are also many suitable models for other brands of spark plugs. Through inquiry, I found that the blue sky engine suitable for Chuangchi mainly meets the following specifications: screw diameter 12, screw diameter 14, thread length 26.5, calorific value 7, ignition spacing 1.0-1.1 mm.

The original car is equipped with NGK brand platinum ILKAR7L11, manufacturer number 94124, this is not for the needle style, the performance may be in the right place.
NGK ruthenium alloy first sold the RX series edge electrode horizontal needle style LKAR7ARX-11P, the factory label is 94493, many riders are using it, and I also use this one.
NGK new ruthenium alloy HX series for needle LKAR7AHX-S, it seems that both needles are ruthenium alloy, manufacturer number 92274, few riders use it, I may have to wait a long time to use it. This one may perform a little better than the 94493.
Denso IXEH22TT, which is based on platinum needle, is not the legendary double iridium needle-to-needle, but the ignition spacing is 1.0mm, while other models are 1.1mm. After a study, the ignition spacing is smaller, and the low torsion may be slightly weaker, but the high rotation performance is better.
Denso FXE22HR11, this is also based on platinum needle, many sellers introduce this spark plug is not recommended, but it can actually be used. Compared with the above IXEH22TT grounding electrode diameter of 0.4mm, I find it strange that the diameter of the grounding electrode needle is 0.55mm. Since this FXE22HR11 is supposed to have 0.4 electrodes, this thicker electrode consumes materials and should be discontinued.
Next, I want to try IXEH22TT, because its spacing is smaller and the diameter of the needle is smaller, so it may be more suitable for the use of roads outside my city.

Please pay attention to the mileage, of course, I also use other technologies to help improve the mileage.

The wheels were switched to a high-end 19 tire, but the fuel consumption did not increase after testing, because the diameter and width of the outer ring remained basically the same.

This is the spark plug of the original car, which ran for 6,000 kilometers, but now it has been put into use again. It feels relatively stable, but the initial feeling of fuel consumption is not as good as that of ruthenium alloy.
