It is winter now, and when you get off work at 5 o’clock every day, you need to turn on the lights to drive. However, the city’s lights are particularly good, so the function of the lights is not so important. But once you get to the countryside and there is no light in the fields, the importance is not discussed. One day on the weekend, I was thinking about why the headlights were so dim and whether there was something wrong. After checking, I found that one light bulb was not working. Come on, change it. Make sure it works normally is the first priority.
Turn on the headlights, then face the front of the car, and check whether the headlights are working properly.
Normal car lights should be the position lights on and the headlights should also be on.
However, it was found that except for the right front position light, the headlights were not on. Obviously, the right front headlight was not working properly, causing poor lighting.
If you look carefully, there is no light at all, it is completely on strike.
Repair wherever it is not bright, find the leather bowl of the right headlight, and the light bulb is inside.
Note that there are 2 leather bowls, one for the high beam, which is the position shown by your fingers.
Inside the leather bowl on the outside is the low beam, which can be seen from the outside of the headlight.
If replaced? Just tear open the leather bowl and pull it out directly.
The rubber bowl is stuck elastically, so you don’t have to be afraid of damage.
Inside the leather bowl is the light bulb. All we have to do is remove the bad light bulb and replace it with a new one.
The light bulb is stuck with a steel wire, which means we need to loosen the steel wire before replacing it.
The lower right corner is the steel wire. How to loosen it? Press the steel wire inward and disengage the buckle, and you can loosen it.
Then loosen the fixed steel wire all the way out to completely loosen the light bulb.
You can remove the light bulb.
It can be seen that the tungsten wire inside the bulb has melted, making it impossible to emit light.
To prepare new light bulbs for replacement, you only need to replace them on the right front side, but the brand is different. Forget it, just replace them with one set and keep the other for later use.
Low beam model: H7, 12V voltage 55W power, Osram brand.
Compared with the old and new, there is a slight gap in workmanship between different brands, but the appearance is universal.
The new light bulb that is about to be replaced can be seen that the tungsten wire is intact.
To replace light bulbs, especially halogen bulbs, pay attention to the mobile phone not to touch the glass, because sweat, grease, etc. on your hands will be adsorbed to the light bulb glass. After the light bulb is electrified and heats up, it will cause uneven heat dissipation, burst or affect its life. So be sure to clean the light bulb glass.
Insert the connector, and then insert the base without touching the bulb glass.
Similarly, bypass the fixing wire and rotate the base.
The base is designed for dump-proof, as long as it can be installed in one position, that is, the square position.
In turn, fix the steel wire and press it into the buckle.
Finally cover the leather bowl to ensure compaction.
Finally, turn on the headlights and check if they are working normally.
On the front right, it was not bright before, but now it returns to normal.
The left front also works normally. Effect achieved, over.
Regarding the replacement of some small parts, I suggest that you be aware of it. After all, it is not difficult to change a light bulb or something, but if the light bulb does not work, it will indeed delay things sometimes, so it is not a bad thing to replace it yourself.
