JBM Auto to invest Rs 300crore with Poland’s Solaris Bus & Coach
NEW DELHI: Auto component manufacturer JBMM Auto today announced that it will partner with Solaris Poland Bus Coach 30 joint ventures to invest Rs. crores in developing and manufacturing electric and hybrid buses in India.
The company is moving to the Bombay Stock Exchange to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) According to the filing, the joint venture will bring world-recognized, sustainable and affordable European electric vehicle technology to India for the first time.

Ecolife plans to start production in Kosi, Uttar Pradesh in the fourth quarter of FY 2016-17.

On July 14, 2016, JBM Auto signed a joint venture agreement with Solariss Bus Coach S.A. in Poland.
JBM Auto unveiled “Ecolife”, a pure electric bus developed by Solariss Bus in collaboration with Coach, at an auto show earlier this year in February.
The Ecolife is made in India with Solaris technology. The bus is powered by lithium batteries and can travel 150 to 200 kilometers in 10 to 15 hours for city buses.
The company later said that once it enters commercial production, Ecolife will be JBM Group’s second domestic public transportation product.
