Pneumatic tires are tires filled with compressed air. They consist of a rubber casing that houses a compressed air core. which absorbs shock and maintains traction. resulting in a stable ride. While it is possible to utilize automotive engine oil in a motorcycle. doing so is not advised. This is due to the fact that motorcycles and cars have distinct performance needs. resulting in different formulations for their respective oils. Motorcycle engine oils are specially designed to fulfill multiple functions. such as lubrication. corrosion prevention. and clutch maintenance. The additives found in automotive engine oils may not be equipped to handle the added pressure and heat produced by a motorcycle. ultimately compromising its performance and potentially causing harm to the engine. For optimal results and prolonged lifespan of your bike's engine. we highly recommend using specialized oils specifically made for motorcycles.
To determine if your engine has seized, first try to turn the ignition; a seized engine won’t crank. Listen for a click—this indicates the starter motor is engaging but can’t move the engine. Check for obvious signs such as extreme heat, unusual smells, or smoke prior to the issue, which suggest overheating that can lead to seizure. Manual transmission vehicles can attempt a push start; inability to do so might confirm the issue. Inspect the oil level and quality, as low or contaminated oil is a common culprit. For a definitive diagnosis, a mechanic might manually try to turn the crankshaft with a wrench. If it doesn’t move, the diagnosis is likely a seized engine, necessitating significant repairs or replacement.
