In fact, this post should have been posted after the 7999-kilometer car post, but after the Spring Festival, , I stole a moment of laziness, because there are often brothers in the group of car friends who ask: what are the first insurance projects, what should we pay attention to, and so on.

The vehicle manual says that there will be a small maintenance at 10000 kilometers, and we will stay and follow the instructions, but I chose the first insurance when the car is 8000 kilometers. First, it is because the Spring Festival is coming, and God knows how many kilometers to run. Second, my rotten chrysanthemum sales suggested that I should make the first insurance earlier. Third, when I bought a car, I gave it three years and nine times. I need to play with a duck! After running for almost a year, it’s only 8000 kilometers. I, Nima.
What needs to be pointed out here is that the oil also has the best use time. It doesn’t mean that the newer the oil is, the better it is. It’s like frying eggs. If the temperature of the oil is too low, pour it into a piece of green, and the temperature of the oil is too high. Pour it into the fire directly. I saw that there were buddies in the group who maintained it for 5000 kilometers. You released the oil as soon as it reached its best condition.
And I also heard a saying, but I don’t know if it can be believed, ha, that is, before the first insurance, go to high speed for a few times, and then let the engine give full play to its effect, polishing some steel slag debris and so on inside the new engine, and then discharge it along with the oil filter element at the time of the first insurance.

This question I once asked me cheerfully that bad chrysanthemum sales, as a result, people do not look up, there is a toothbrush, change the engine filter, gone. What else do you want, we’ll give you a square dance? Nima… Then secretly told me, do not be fooled by the little sister in the maintenance reception desk, what inspection this is bullshit, unless you are interested in her, otherwise do not do. Uh… )

In addition to the hardware replacement, throughout the process, I found out why repair and maintenance should be done in the fourth son, or in a super regular store, because there are many details in the inspection project and process, which I am afraid is unmatched by other stores.

I’ll talk about the process directly, and then emphasize some details. Look at the picture for details.
1. Get on the landing gear
I have said this thing many times, the new five-series can only be lifted by the kind of landing gear with four discs, because there are four piles specially used for lifts under the car. My maintenance brother groped on the ground for a long time to make the disc of the landing gear fit perfectly with the piles of my car (many other stores do not have this kind of lift), and if you use two big lifts It is possible to top up the plastic spoiler under the car, while pushing up the tire directly prevents you from checking the tire.
2. Check the chassis and tires
I believe other stores will also do this. My little brother examined it very carefully. I looked there with a flashlight, and I followed. After all, teacher Wang Yan mentioned the problem of hub cracking in the five series in the comparative evaluation. I also followed and looked at it. My whole chassis is very clean. I didn’t lose the wipe and hang it (I was driving more carefully (because I was poor), and then I used a screwdriver to help me get the pebbles when I checked the wheel, but for me with obsessive-compulsive disorder, I really wanted to yell and let me do it! Give me a tire pressure after taking it out, Gaga, the first 2.4 and the second 2.5 is awesome.
3. Ready to put engine oil
Little brother skillfully opened the lid of Tianling that I knew. Then cover the front of the car with a cloth (there is a magnet on the cloth, suck directly on it), and then start to remove the lid of my engine (thick soundproof cotton), but it’s a bit of a mess inside. Then start checking all kinds of things (I feel like I’m looking for a place to loosen or something), and then unscrew the position of the oil filter (it’s on it. I thought all the cars would be under the engine. No, no, no. ), then came to the bottom of the car with a trolley (oil collection cart) and pointed it at the belly button, and then the small hand went back in the hole and pulled out a screw. Then I saw the cola-colored oil gushing out into the funnel of the collection cart.
4. Add oil and change oil filter element
After waiting for a long time, when the old oil is almost clean, then screw on, put the car down, and then take out the new oil, brand and model below the picture, I will not say, mainly the quantity, 5.25L! So what I took out was six bottles, and then the last bottle was only one-fourth, and the oil filter element was brown after it was taken out. After changing it for a new one, the young master also applied Vaseline lubrication to the glue strip at the joint. This is a like. I looked at the new oil and found that it was light brown and had been poured for a long time. Compared with the old oil, it showed that it was almost enough to change it for 10,000 kilometers.
5. All kinds of inspection
After tightening the new oil filter element, the young master also checked the tightness with the spray and then checked the excuses of all kinds of wire harnesses, not the ones that were removed at the beginning, but everything in the cabin. (I guess it has something to do with me taking pictures there all the time. The little master is very diligent, .)
Then I specifically asked whether the antifreeze was missing, and he looked at it and said that it was no less if he didn’t call the police, but I could add some to you, and then I took the water and put it into it. Well, I want to say, antifreeze is water. And then add water from the radiator. Then I filled up my glass water (in fact, I want to say that the 3m glass water I have been adding is not tap water, my brother. )
After finishing this set, the little master wiped the cabin with a wet towel. Although my cabin was very clean, I felt very cool, , and then used an air gun to rush the details for a long time. After closing the cover, use the torque wrench again! 1, see clearly, it is a wrench with torsion, checked all the screws of the four wheels, it must be mentioned here that many people’s anti-theft screws can not be unscrewed in the end, and can only be broken with an impact drill. The biggest reason to take it off is to be tightened with a wrench. So a torque wrench is necessary.

I wrote so much just to let everyone know the process of the first insurance. Of course, I didn’t mention any internal inspections, but I just asked you if you had any problems. There was nothing wrong with my car, so the focus was on the outside of the car or on the hardware.
I have always stressed that maintenance should be done at the fourth son or a regular store, for example, special landing gear, including applying Vaseline to oil filter strips, checking tightness, and then torque wrenches.
Some things are not that others do not have, but in some places, people are already there as operating procedures, and you do not say that people will follow that process. And this also includes the matching of hardware and software, as well as the quality of technician training, including some small details, which are unmatched by many small modification points and maintenance shops.
By the way, when I checked the chassis, I also found some loose interfaces (the picture below), including that if the air filter element is removed, the air filter element must be removed, and if the air filter element is removed, the aluminum alloy reinforcement rod in the engine compartment must be removed. this shows that there is still room for improvement in the 5 series as a whole, which will be explained in the following picture.
