I bought a MAN filter element on Taobao for less than 140 yuan. I checked the authenticity code. I originally wanted to buy the MAHLE filter element, but it was only 80 yuan. Thinking about it, I bought it and tried it.
It’s of Czech origin. However, compared with the original factory models removed below, the Mahler models are also imported, which are still different from the ones made in Romania. There are many original factory models, and they are made with velvet, but Taobao cannot buy this model.
This removed filter element is two years old. The 18000-kilometer filter element is a little dirty on the front side, and the opposite side is the same as new. I feel that there will be no problem using it for another year. Since it has been removed, let’s replace it.
First unscrew the two buckles, and then pull out the thread of the lamp. The most difficult thing is the buckle position on the left side. It requires skillful force. I can’t tell how it got it. Anyway, it’s okay to think about it a few times. Don’t break it. I took some pictures of the buckles to understand it for myself.
Remove this board to make it easier for others. Pull out the white hose, then use a screwdriver to screw off two screws, using T15.
After unscrewing the screws, change the bottom of the filter element and remove it. There are buckles on the cover plate. You can remove the buckles and remove the cover plate. Take off the last two filter elements and replace them with a new one. Everything will be fine. I hope I can help everyone. The arrow of the filter element is pointing towards the front of the car.
