In terms of safety, this level of car does not need to say much, the basic passive safety is still very in place, of course, my car configuration is relatively low, such as active brakes, 360 ring shadow and so on.
It is worth mentioning that the 5 series is also equipped with SOS system, at first I dare not press this button, but later found that the outside is only a lid, inside is the SOS phone button.
In terms of comfort, the 525 seat is very wide, there is no doubt that the front row is equipped with electric adjustment, cushion height, seat back angle can get a comfortable position, even the sports version is also general.

Why do I think BMW pays more attention to the back row? because the back row is not only excellent space, but also the opening and closing angle of the back door is close to 90 degrees, getting on and off can be more convenient and elegant.

I don’t feel like driving a big car when I drive my 5-Series. Everything is very smooth, directional is good, and follow is not bad, driving is both stable and easy.
Before I bought the car, I knew that the chassis of this generation of 5 series was also simple, but I really don’t have to care too much about daily driving, and I don’t think I can understand it. Our road surface is general, and there are still a lot of small potholes out of the village, but it has little impact on me. I feel that the shock-absorbing capacity of the 5-series is very good. It is the kind of design that can feel the road surface but avoid the feeling of discomfort.
When you come to the asphalt road outside, the excellent sound insulation performance of the 5 series is reflected. Compared with the other car at home, this feeling is even more obvious. Of course, it is not that there is no noise at all, at least the tire noise is very annoying.
At first, I suspected this big-eared one, thinking that the wind noise was not small, but later I found that the sound insulation of the 5 series was very excellent, mainly because of the noise caused by the explosion-proof tire.
In terms of power, I don’t want to list a pair of engine data, just talk about my personal feelings. The 0-100 data of 525 is mediocre, but its daily use may surprise you. The start response is very good, the acceleration is also very direct, the gear shift logic of the gearbox is also very smart, and the overall performance can be described as excellent.
For one thing, don’t blindly believe in the control of BMW, and daily car use and control don’t go hand in hand. It has to be said that the reduction of the chassis, coupled with the lengthening of the body, still has an impact on the roll of the 5-Series, which is much larger than the French B-Class car at home.
However, this figure is tired of driving in the traffic. Every time I think about it, the rest of the 5-series driving control is an advantage in my eyes, and those shortcomings are immediately left behind.

4. I would like to complain a few words:
Although buying a car means that I have accepted the simple configuration of rear suspension, when I bend over to see its true face, I still feel a little uncomfortable, really thin tin, a little worried about it.
Fortunately, the lower guard of the engine is a very thick aluminum alloy, which is a big drop of praise, and the flatness of the chassis is also very good.
There is also the brake of this single piston, coupled with the reason that the brakes of the new car have not been run-in yet, I feel a bit unstoppable several times. It is said that this brake still has a common problem of partial wear, which seems to need to be paid attention to within 3 years.
The 5 series is equipped with an automatic induction wiper, but I don’t know whether this sensor head is not very sensitive or a logical design problem. On a rainy day not long ago, this wiper is not very smart.
At this angle between the front gear glass and the machine cover, it is easy to hide dirt. Recently, the camphor tree at work is in the leaf-changing season, and it is full of leaves after work every day.
The downturn angle of the right rearview mirror when reversing is definitely a bug. Fortunately, I bought the hidden equipment for the brush before I picked up the car. I changed the angle at the first time, and now it is very comfortable to use.
Two-handed preparation, I also bought a small reversing mirror, posted it, and then I took it off again. I spent very little time removing glue.
The main reason why we bought the hidden equipment in advance is that automatic start and stop is definitely a stupid design, which will only increase the cost of our use.
This must also complain, BMW atmosphere lights absolutely can not keep up with the times, it seems that there are only 11, said to be 11, in fact, few good-looking, the first time painted a replacement color.
I don’t know if this is a complaint, but BMW’s center console design is so old-fashioned that it feels like it was more than a decade ago, almost unchanged. In addition, the materials of panels, buttons and knobs are too cheap and unclassy.
Wireless charging of mobile phone should be an advantage, but after changing the 14pm, it can not be put down at all, so this function has become a decoration, it seems that this design is also a slot point in me.
If you use this picture to guess a car, you will never guess that this is a 5-series, this seat memory button, as well as the door and window buttons are too low, come on like a luxury brand.
And in the front row, I looked everywhere and couldn’t find a shelf for glasses. Summer is coming, sunglasses can only be thrown on the door, too inelegant, isn’t it?
This must be complained about, that is, the crash of the seat belt buckle and the B-pillar is so annoying. At first I thought it was the noise of the skylight. I thought I was hit, but later I found that it was the culprit.
This is also something I have to complain about. I searched the jar and complained that the design of the seat waist rest is unreasonable. No wonder I couldn’t find a suitable sitting position no matter how hard I was. My waist became sore while I was talking.
There is also a slot that I can’t bear to get on the 530, but I found it. It’s a six-speaker luxury brand C-Class car. BMW, why don’t you just remove the stereo? Wouldn’t the sound insulation be better?
This can only be regarded as a small slot. The armrest box in the front row looks very big. When you open it, you will find that the interior space is very small. Fortunately, I don’t need to put anything at the moment. I am going to buy a music flash drive and plug it in here.
Can the two storage compartments designed under the outlet of the rear air conditioner really work? Not to mention the size of the internal space and no cover plate, is it safe to put things inside?
