The car is a 22-model 530-standard axle fashion model. It is actually easy to replace the air filter element, mainly because the 4s is too expensive. Although it is not that you can’t afford it, with your own hands-on ability, the previous air conditioning filter element was also replaced by yourself. Compared with air conditioning filter elements, the air filter element is relatively simple. Many online tutorials require the removal of the balance bar. In fact, the real official requirement is that the balance bar does not have to be removed. The main difficulty is that the bayonet at the connection between the cover and the air inlet of the air filter element is a bit tight, and it is difficult to remove it without using force and tools. Now tell everyone the steps. The tools are simple to use, a set of plumx screwdrivers, a one-line screwdriver, and a straight hard plastic block (I used a Lego disassembly block instead)
The first is to pull out the air sensor buckle. Pay attention to this place. Use a linear screwdriver to gently pry the white movable buckle on the surface of the sensor plug. Once the buckle is moved, it can be easily pulled out.
The second is to loosen the round iron hoop with a screwdriver. This is the elastic buckle connecting the air inlet and the air filter cover. You don’t have to loosen it completely, just screw it until the round hoop is slightly loosened.
The third is to unscrew the six hexagonal screws on the upper cover of the air filter element. Be careful not to drop the screws into the engine compartment, which is difficult to find.
The fourth step is to gently pry loose the periphery of the connection buckle with a straight and hard plastic block, so that it will be much easier to remove.
The fifth is to take out the original filter element, clean up all the dust in the filter element compartment, and finally wipe the filter element compartment clean with a damp cloth.
Finally, install the new filter element in and follow the original steps to restore it.
I use MAN brand. You can buy one at the online MAN brand flagship store. The cheaper ones are available at more than 100 yuan or more than 200 yuan. The Mahler brand is the cheapest, but not even 100 yuan. So when you find a way, you can change it more diligently. You know, it seems that it costs more than 600 yuan for a 4s single exchange. The 500 yuan you saved is really delicious.
It is recommended to replace the air filter once a year. If the surrounding environment is not good, you can also replace it once every six months. The ones you buy are cheap anyway.
