1. Maintenance

At present, it has traveled more than 53000 kilometers, which is not too much. If there is no epidemic, it may reach 80, 000 kilometers. Maintenance because there is a lifetime maintenance, I usually maintain 6000-7000 km once, using 5w30 oil in summer (free) and 0w30 in winter (make up the price difference). The spark plug has been changed twice, basically every 20, 000 kilometers, the first one is made in France and the second time is made in Japan, there is no difference.

Change the gearbox oil at 50, 000 kilometers, change the gravity method, change the improved oil pan, use the original BMW gearbox oil, it will be cheaper if you change the ZF universal transmission oil, in fact, it is the same. Many people say that the ZF gearbox is maintenance-free. I decided to change it when I saw the thick mud on the oil pan removed by the riders before. As a result, my car also has a layer of sludge, which may have no effect on driving, but I feel comfortable when I change it clean.

2. Gasoline, carbon deposits, additives

Usually add 95 kilos to the fixed gas station, because the unit has cooperation with Sinopec, refueling is 20% off, and there are coupons. There were a lot of additives in BMW’s original factory during Singles Day holiday, basically two boxes of oil and a bottle. At 48000 kilometers, I went to a friend’s store and cleaned the intake valve with walnut sand. I removed the throttle and found it was as clean as the new one. The intake valve 1 cylinder has a small amount of carbon deposition, while the 234 cylinder has almost no carbon deposition. I guess it is because cylinder 1 is closest to the intake and may have the largest intake, so some oil and gas are first inhaled by cylinder 1 resulting in trace carbon deposition, which may also be the reason for the current TU engine cylinder 1 to accumulate carbon more seriously. In fact, carbon deposition is also related to air filtration. if the air is mixed with impurities, it will accumulate in the cylinder and intake valve, so the so-called high air volume air filter and oily air filter should not be changed as far as possible.

I’m not sure how effective the additive is, but for now, at least the endoscope can see that there is no carbon on the piston. I intend to clean the piston with dry ice at 100000 kilometers.

2. LCD panel cracking, this problem has been encountered by many five-series car owners. It is said that one panel costs more than 9000, and I changed it for 2, all because of the cold weather. The last one is said to have been improved and has not been cracked yet.

3. Brake wobble, scratch on brake disc, claim for front brake disc. At first, it was said in the store that the brake disc was fragile without warranty, but after an inquiry, the result was that there was a warranty and it was replaced.

4. Three explosion-proof tires burst in a year, and then the PS4S was changed, and there was no problem. If it is the car damage caused by road damage, you can ask the transportation department to make a claim. At that time, I asked the traffic police to issue an accident identification, took photos at the scene, and complained on Minsheng Network. Later, the management department of the road gave me money for two tires. I need invoices, old tires, and traffic accident liability certificates.
