I thought that I could pick up a new car and celebrate the Lunar New Year happily in 2020, but I didn’t expect so many sad things to happen all of a sudden. First, the COVID-19 epidemic broke out, and then Kobe, who I had been a fan of for more than ten years, passed away unexpectedly. When I heard the news that day, I was really confused. RIP Kobe&Gigi… I hope that the epidemic will end soon and everyone will be safe and sound!
Let’s briefly talk about the process of picking up the car. The car ordered at the end of November has a 530Li M set of carbon black on the outside and red on the inside. The Comfort Suite is a car in transit in the 4S shop. There was no way to choose it (originally planned to choose ACC Adaptive Cruise). I waited for more than a month in the middle. I picked up the car on January 8. I went to the store at around 10 a.m. that day. The 4S efficiency was good. I finished the insurance purchase tax selection and got the license and went home at 2 pm.
Up to today, 5500 kilometers have been driven, and basically all are high-speed highways (from Fujian to Liaoning’s coastal provinces). Let’s not talk about the advantages, but there are a few dissatisfaction points:
The M steering wheel feels worse than expected, the material is too slippery and a bit too thick;
The wooden decorative strips in the interior are too old-fashioned, and I personally like the aluminum rhombus interior with imported short shafts;
The gear position is not displayed in idrive7 comfort mode;
There is no standard acc;
Acceleration is gentle (fortunately I didn’t buy 525)
