The car has been bought and driven for more than a year, and the defects in the womb should be repaired. A total of three repairs were carried out this year. They are 1. Replace the heating pad of the main driving seat. two。 The wheel frame of the left rear wheel (i.e. sheep’s horn) is replaced. 3. The spring box is replaced.

1. The seat heating pad is damaged. Failure phenomenon: turn on the seat and heat it for about 5 seconds to close automatically. If you turn on seat ventilation and seat heating at the same time, turn both off after 5 seconds. Open the seat alone and ventilation is normal. If you turn on the engine while driving, it will start and stop automatically. When waiting for the traffic light engine to stop automatically, turn on the seat heating function, it will not turn off automatically, but the seat will not be heated.
Due to the need for maintenance, the whole seat leather is removed. I’m a little confused. Before and after the technicians of the two 4S stores determined that the fault point was the damage to the seat heating pad. In the end, we have no choice but to replace it.
A thousand words of advice. 4S shop specially found the best master of leather craftsmanship for packing seats in the store, and under my supervision throughout the process. This should be a common fault of 530LI and 530LE. I found a lot of cars in the neighborhood. The problem is the abnormal noise produced by the ball head on the rear wheel frame. There are a lot of things that need to be dismantled for sheep horn replacement. In order to standardize the disassembly and assembly process of maintenance technicians. I studied the whole replacement process in detail. Summarize the 7-point requirements, print A4 paper in duplicate before replacement. Give it to the construction technician to have a look. Discuss together where there is any doubt. Finally, it is a technician in a Binjiang shop in Hangzhou (Hangzhou people all know it), using the same operation as a textbook. The wheel frame of the left rear car has been replaced perfectly to solve the abnormal noise. The maintenance process standard is far beyond my expectations. Thank you again.

I put forward 7 requirements for this operation procedure. In fact, point 6 is not needed because the rear wheel bearing of the G38 is fixed on the sheep’s horn with four screws.

The 4-wheel positioning after this replacement is very in place. When it comes to the new car, I always think there is something wrong with the steering feel of BMW. The steering wheel aligning torque has almost no gain with the steering angle. After four rounds of positioning this time. The whole steering wheel feels very good, and the steering wheel is just right.
Unfortunately, as soon as the problem on the left is solved, the same problem begins to appear on the right. So I think there should be something wrong with the design. There must always be such a noise on the left and right sides. It’s a good thing it doesn’t make any noise on the right. Just don’t fix it for the time being. It might ring on the left again.

3. Spring box replacement: the defects brought out in the womb are found in the new car. Malfunction: there is the sound of broken plastic on the steering wheel. The problem remains after lubrication.
This is a common problem, and there is almost no solution. Many riders in the forum still have the same problem after they have changed. It’s the same with mine. I still have it after the change. But it’s better than before. In fact, it doesn’t make much sense to change it if it’s not too serious. If it’s serious, change it. However, due to the removal of the interior, there are a lot of details to pay attention to. I studied the disassembly process again and put forward six requirements. Or 4A paper printing. In duplicate. Discuss with the maintenance engineer and start the construction.

Because the G38 can replace the spring box separately. So you don’t need programming. The steering column switching center (SZL) has not been replaced. As for whether there is still abnormal noise caused by not replacing the SZL, it needs to be further explored.

My principle for getting along with 4S stores is: It is better to explain clearly beforehand than to cause trouble afterwards. I think every car owner should keep such meticulous and serious about the maintenance process. Only when you value it can you get enough attention from others. 3. Fuel consumption

Since the last 1st anniversary post, I have done a fuel consumption tracking test. Each time you fill up the tank, and the next time you refuel, record how much fuel was added (i.e., the actual amount of gasoline consumed) and the mileage traveled between refills. Then calculate the average fuel consumption of this tank of oil. After a year of records. Show everyone the results. Let everyone have an understanding of fuel consumption. Don’t just look at the fuel consumption on the driving computer. That is completely inaccurate.
