On a sunny weekend, the sky was unbelievably blue and the faint clouds were wantonly dizzy. I can’t remember how many times I came to Dingdu Pavilion in winter in the west of Beijing, but this is the first time I went there by self-driving after mentioning 530Li. The place is still the same place, the scenery is the same, but the mood will be more or less different.

If I have to rank the scenery of various places on the outskirts of Beijing, Mentougou must be in the top three. Dingdu Pavilion is not as lively as Tanzhe Temple, nor does it have the magnificent momentum of the Imperial Palace, but it just has a special beauty. When the weather is fine, watching it stand there quietly, I feel peace of mind. At the foot of Dingdu Pavilion, the front of the car faces west, overlooking the mountains, and you can also get a panoramic view of a corner of Beijing. if you float a little bit at this time, Lesser Snow will have a more artistic conception of Xishan and sunny snow.

Drive all the way up the mountain, you can drive all the way to the attic of Dingdu, and you can really feel a refreshing sense of control.

In fact, the location of Dingdu Pavilion is fastidious. The Dingdu Peak at the top of Lion Mountain is located on the westward extension of Changan Street, and this is the location where the legendary “Yan Wang Xi climbed Dingdu Peak and Liu Bowen built Beijing overnight.” Remembering that King Zhu Di climbed the peak and pointed out the rivers and mountains, as the saying goes, “when you get to Dingdu Peak, Fang Xiao Beijing City.”

Although Dingdu Pavilion is antique, but the terrain is excellent, along the stairs in the attic to climb the highest point, is absolutely boundless scenery.
The International Trade Building can be seen farthest to the east, and to the west are mountains and mountains. No wonder Zhu Di once sighed that “the location of this peak is so wonderful that it is a godsend.”
Look at Yun Juan Yun Shu in the sky and watch the hustle and bustle of the capital. This is the best place to make a pot of tea and watch it for a day.
With the Dingdu cabinet as the background, 530Li also looks particularly imposing.

5 series of mid-term changes in this generation, the biggest changes are headlights and taillights, and I particularly like the new lamp group design. Although it is a pity that the most classic angel eyes are gone, the new angel wings are more stylish and refined and seem to be in harmony with the kidneys.

The 19-inch wheel, the tire noise of the explosion-proof tire is actually fine, but the 530Li xDrive M version of the wheel does not seem to have the five-spoke style of the luxury set to watch the movement, I think the exchange is more in line with their respective temperament.

The tail is a sense of stability, not too rigid but not too flamboyant, sports and business style.
The new taillight is very beautiful, and the blackened texture looks good even if it is not lit, while the red wide light is even more elegant after it is lit.

Compared with Mercedes-Benz’s charming and gorgeous nightclub style interior, BMW is obviously more “straight”. Get into a 5-series car, although it will not make people feel “wow” in a moment, but after getting along for a long time, you can feel more and more good about it.

The positions of the M steering wheel, outer ring and horn with four adjustments are all wrapped in fine leather, and the spokes are just right in size and thickness, making them perfect both in shape and feel.

LCD instrument that can display navigation information and map, the interface design is cool enough.

The big screen of the latest Id7.0 system, voice control is very sensitive, high recognition, but gesture control is more gimmick.

Without giving up the physical buttons and knobs with common functions, the air conditioner does not need to be adjusted in the system, which is the most gratifying thing about BMW.

Fragrance can be selected, there are four kinds of flavor to choose from, my favorite is the sunset shining sand, especially from the outside into the car at that moment, the faint fragrance is very pleasant.

Compared with Mercedes-Benz e and Audi A6l, the BMW 5’s gears seem to have the most handle and texture.

The 5-series chair is very comfortable, and the cushions and backrest are very thick and spacious. It may be a bit of an exaggeration to say that it is a big sofa, but the comfort is really great.

As a C-class car and a long-axle version, the space of the 530Li allows me to stretch easily when I sit in the back row.

Let’s talk about the auxiliary driving experience of the 5 series. I think this part is also a point that I am particularly satisfied with. ACC and lane maintenance not only support highways, but even low-speed traffic jams can play a role. Automatically judge the timing of acceleration and deceleration according to the distance between vehicles, and identify the direction of lane correction, as long as it is not encountered with particularly complex road conditions such as intersections, traffic lights, etc., basically most of the time is OK. When you are tired, you can leave everything to the car yourself, and it’s no problem to be lazy.

2.0T high-power engine, low torsion is very abundant, Buddhist driving will feel that the whole car is very light, light throttle can have a good power output. If you drive in a more intense way, the logic and speed of the 8AT shift, as well as the changes between low and high speeds of the engine, can also keep up with the pace.

The panoramic image of BMW is very good, the picture is very clear, and the synthesized perspective of God is almost undistorted, very real, useful when backing up, and also useful when crossing narrow alleys.

Compared with urban areas and highways, 530Li can give me more pleasure to drive on winding mountain roads. The accurate linear direction can be called where to hit, the solid and stable chassis can also provide strong lateral support in the bend, the posture of the car body can always be very stable, and the potholes large and small on the road can be filtered very thoroughly, without any aftershocks.

Stepping on the setting sun, the trip to Dingdu Pavilion came to an end. As far as the driving experience of this trip was concerned, I was very satisfied with the overall performance of 530Li.
