(1) BMW 5-Series (purely passing by, consider)
Yes, the first car I saw was the BMW 5-Series. Unfortunately, this is human nature (the purse is not full enough). When you see 18 points, you think 20 points, and when you have 20 points, you think 22 points. I think that cars will only get cheaper and cheaper. At present, there is no shortage of cars to drive, and family cars do not want to be too publicized. So I went home and thought about it.
Since then, the comfort of the rear seats (seat softness and support, cushion length and support) has become one of the key factors to be considered.
In terms of rear seat comfort and leg support comfort, the 5 Series is definitely a benchmark at this level.
(2) Toyota Crown (give up)
Dad’s generation, especially the older generation in Guangdong, is very fond of Japanese cars, and the strength of the 12-generation crown is also aimed at the 5E6, so the second consideration is the Toyota crown. But I went to the store and took a look around, but there was no test drive.
Advantages: 1. The atmosphere in the car is good, and the seat is soft and comfortable. 2. Most of the places you can touch are leather, which is well received. 3. The ergonomics in the car is well designed. Although it is two large screens, it is easy to use.
Disadvantages: 1, after minor changes, cancel 2.5V6, bad comments! 2. The exhaust changed from concealment to double circle exposure, which broke the design of the rear atmosphere. 3. After looking at it for a long time, I always feel that the long and narrow body of this generation of crown is very strange, and it is not as good-looking as previous generations of exterior designs. 4. Unexpectedly, it is still a foot brake, bad review!
It feels that this generation of crown does not have the essence of previous generations, and is generally relatively mediocre and mediocre, which is also Toyota’s consistent characteristic of no advantages and no shortcomings. at the same time, in order to cater to the trend of younger market, it becomes less and less like the crown. Only the brand is supporting it.
After the minor changes to the crown, those two vents are really a failure to destroy the overall design. And the crown tail is relatively towering, and I feel unbearable to see it after watching it for a long time.
(3) Lexus ES (abandon)
Now that I have seen the crown, I have to watch ES. Indeed, this generation has changed a lot, with a brand new chassis, an all-standard active safety system, and an exterior interior that is also very attractive to the younger generation. At that time, the ES just launched, there was no test drive, it was just a static experience.
Advantages: 1, 279000 starting price, pure import, very attractive. 2. The exterior design is a sense of atmospheric luxury with oriental taste. 3. The interior is closer to LS, and I think the sense of luxury is stronger than that of the previous generation. 4, seats, more comfortable than the crown, especially in the back row, legs support in place, sit up feel soft with support, suitable for long-distance ride, very relaxed. 5. Late maintenance has advantages.
Disadvantages: 1. Price increase! There is no existing car, a fare increase of 20,000 will take about 3 months, and no fare increase for more than 6 months. 2, the power and price jump range is a little big, 2.0 price is good, but the power is too Buddhist; 2.5 excellent and 2.0 price difference of 60,000, more than 40 horsepower is not worth; 300h excellent power is OK, but it is also the same as the configuration 2.0 price difference of 80,000, not worth it.

(4) Camry 2.5HQ (abandon)
Considering that the Camry hybrid and the ES300h three big pieces are the same, in line with the principle of saving money and worry, also went to the 4s to see the car, by the way, test drive to feel the mix.
Pros: forget it, Toyota car, you know.
Disadvantages: 1, indeed a penny of goods, the use of materials is much worse than ES, most of them are rigid plastic parts, but taking into account the nearly 100000 price difference and many configurations. 2, sound insulation, it is OK to use pure electric mode, once the engine is involved in acceleration, it feels that the car is roaring and transmitted into the car, the noise is a little loud. 3. (6) Cadillac XTS, CT6 (abandon)
GM’s means of car sales is to promote discounts not long after the launch, resulting in new car owners happy, old car owners sad, brand loyalty is not high. However, since it is a family car, there is no plan to sell it in a short time, so the preservation rate will no longer be considered. After watching the LaCrosse, I think of XTS.
Advantages: 1, 290000 can buy top match, the performance-to-price ratio is also very high. 2. Although it is a 13-year-old car, the appearance of the slightly modified model is still not backward. 3. Sound insulation, configuration and power are all good.
Disadvantages: 1, 6AT gearbox setback, pain point. 2. It is the luxury version of the previous generation of LaCrosse, which lags behind this generation of LaCrosse in technology. 3. Advantages: 1, the appearance is longer and longer than XTS, without the bloated feeling of XTS appearance. 2. The minimum fashion version configuration has been satisfied for family use, and it is easy to install some configurations outside. 3. Even if there is no rear wheel steering, it is very flexible to change course and turn around.
Disadvantages: 1, the car design sense of personal feeling is not as luxurious as XTS, mainly because the hierarchical sense of control is not strong. 2. The wheelbase is indeed long, but there is no feeling that the space in the car is particularly large, and the rear space looks OK, but it is only based on the short back seats. 3. The back seat cushion is short and the backrest is relatively straight, which makes it uncomfortable to sit. 4. On the whole, CT6 is worth considering, mainly because the interior of the car body is so long but it doesn’t give me the feeling I should have, especially after watching S90, I gave up.
Test-drive CT6, the dynamic response is very positive, the appearance is also domineering, but the car space and luxury atmosphere is really not as good as BBA, the back row does not feel the space has an advantage. And the back seat is relatively straight, so it is generally comfortable to sit on it. The body of the car, which is longer than the 5-series, is a hard wound in the ground clearance, which is shorter than the Buick LaCrosse.

(7) Volvo S90 (option)

Advantages: 1, cost-effective, more than 290000 can buy T5 Zhiyi. 2. The active security configuration is high, and the whole department is equipped with urban safety system as standard. 3. The sound insulation in the static state is very good, and the ordinary sound on the Zhiyi version is already very good. 4. I can feel the material of the car body is very kind, especially the sound of the four doors closing is very thick. 5. The smell in the car is very slight, and there is basically no pungent smell. 6, the material is good, a lot of leather and solid wood, pay attention to is a large piece of thick solid wood, the material of the door handle is also very advanced.
Disadvantages: 1, the seat is a bit hard, although the sales said that the orthopedic surgeon participated in the seat design, but for us to feel the waist position is very uncomfortable, the store car watchers are also divided into two groups, either the seat is very hard, or the support is very comfortable. 2. The back seat cushion is still relatively short. 3. The noise is obvious when driving, especially the engine sound and tire noise coming from the front of the car. 4. The window control buttons of the four doors are very small and strange! 6. To sum up, the S90 is worth considering as an alternative model after a substantial discount (the guide price feels worthless).
The S90 was once the closest car to me. I took my family to a test drive, and it all reflected three problems: noise, seat and shock absorption. Besides, the S90 is really a well-balanced car.

Third, purchase and pick up a car
After watching one lap, only S90 has entered the list of candidates, but S90 has obvious advantages and disadvantages, which makes me a Virgo very tangled. The most dissatisfied is the 8at gearbox. To tell you the truth, I don’t feel how good this zf8at is, and I really don’t feel a setback when I move up, but when I slow down to 20km/h, that kind of frustration drag makes people crazy, especially when I follow the car in the city. I just stepped on the throttle to rise above the 20kmh gear, and let the car slow down without stepping on the brakes. I have a strong sense of drag when I step on the throttle, and I feel that I can’t get out of the car when I’m being pulled. It’s only better if you turn off autohold. To be honest, many people used to complain about the downgrade of GM gearbox, but I can say for sure that BMW’s setback was several times stronger than that of Buick, causing it to slow down and wait for a red street light when the brakes were not very linear. The frustration is obvious when I think that Buick’s gearbox is also a new car, and now it’s almost negligible. I wonder if BMW’s gearbox will be like this.

The front row space is not bad, and there is no plan to add seat covers.
BMW’s classic interior design has a three-dimensional feel and a clear distinction between functions.

With the addition of entertainment sets, Hamann’s loudspeaker obviously brings a sense of luxury to a level.
Without Harman, this is a piece of black plastic, ugly. Of course, you can also add 5 high 1 in the later stage, and the cost is not very high.
This door handle is also inherited from the previous generation of BMW 5-Series, but there is no room for sundries. I would rather choose the 6gt door handle, which is practical.
Personally, I also prefer the deluxe version of the steering wheel, without a shift pick, which is basically left out as soon as the pick is fresh.
The driver’s seat looks at the copilot, but the center console occupies too many seats.
It’s not a panoramic skylight, but in the south, panoramic skylights are basically useless. It’s hard to feel hot overhead in summer. Ankewei’s panoramic skylight has never been opened.

Some of the buttons have a metallic texture, and the knob has a great damping. S90 is on these details.

The window control button is also metallic, which is very good. It’s the same on the S90, but the size of the button is one size smaller. I don’t understand Volvo’s design. Are Asian fingers particularly slim?
