Using the solution of 12 Eaton speakers +705W Annika amplifier, the basic steps are:
1. Remove the tailbox plate, install the power amplifier in the left storage box of the tailbox, and take power from the battery;
2. Remove the rear seat, wire it to the rear seat, and install the rear mid-tweeter unit ×2;
3. Continue to pay off the line to the front seat, remove the front seat, and install the bass unit ×2;
4. Remove the front trim panel, air conditioning panel, mainframe, and navigation screen, install the mid-mounted tweeter unit, and connect the amplifier switch cable to the mainframe;
5. Remove the door panel and install the middle tweeter unit ×2 on the door.
6. The entire modification took 9 hours.
Feelings: 1. The original six-speaker is really simple, but BMW Brilliance is not kind;
2. The effect has been significantly improved after the change, and the music is strong and pleasant to hear (I am a non-professional, and I can’t describe the clear treble, powerful midrange, mellow bass, etc.);
3. The G38 leads the modification workload, which is mainly reflected in the release of wires; if it is an original high-fidelity stereo, all cables are available, and only need to change the speaker, resulting in a small workload;
4. The master works meticulously, and slow work produces meticulous work, which is basically a non-destructive installation.
Problem: 1. There is interference noise on and off, which is solved after shielding such as “anti-theft GPS”;
2. After the power amplifier is increased, the navigation sound and parking radar alarm sound are loud. You need to enter the IDRIVE menu to adjust the “tone”.
