Another reason for the price is that when the car was booked in August last year, it was in time for the replacement of the 5 series, and the price of the 19 models was the lowest at this time. Speaking of which, let me mention my driving history. The first car was Kia Ceratu, manual, and now it seems to be a very simple car. I was very excited at that time, after all, it was the first car in my life.
I got my driver’s license that year, but I didn’t buy a car for a long time. I work in a foreign trade company, and my colleagues in the department, old and young, have all bought a car. After working for many years, there is no improvement in business. I really don’t have the strength to buy a car. This year I had a chance to go abroad, but because of poor performance, the leader gave it to others. Why am I so miserable? Do not like me, I want to be good to myself, buy a car! At that time, the budget was about 80,000 yuan. It seems that I chose Ceratu. From then on, I started a life with a car. Oddly enough, after buying a car, orders from foreign customers suddenly broke out, and as soon as I settled at the end of the year, I made a lot of money for the company and suddenly “turned the serf to sing”.
After singing, I stopped working in the company and went out to work on my own.
Four years later, I changed my second car in my life, the Citroen C5. Now it seems that the car is very unpopular, what attracted me at that time was its chassis, which was really too textured. It can be said that driving a C5 over a slightly potholed road is a kind of enjoyment. In other words, it is a waste of chassis to drive the C5 without going down the road.
In contrast, the 525 chassis is more comfortable and filters a lot of bumps than the C5. But I always feel that the chassis of the C5 is clear and comfortable, so it is suitable for long distances. I used to drive all the way back from out of town, and I was not tired for 9 hours. Citroen deserves the title of chassis master.
With the bedding of the C5, and then choose the car, I put the chassis comfort first. Series 5 compromises to comfort in the past two years, which is in tune with my choice.
Then again, the power of the C5 is too fleshy (2.0 self-priming, over a hundred seconds in 11 seconds). The low-power version of 525, I already feel much lighter to drive. 530 high power, 6.8 seconds over a hundred, what good is it with me? can only say that my starting point is too low, the requirements are not high. Since this is the case, we might as well save some money, save a little bit, and what we save is what we earn. Businessmen, very realistic.
Later checked the data, 0-60 km acceleration, 525 and 530 are about 3.5 seconds and 3 seconds respectively, the gap is only 0.5 seconds. But accelerating from 60 to 100 yards, the gap is wide, 6.9 seconds and 8.6 seconds, respectively. I usually drive mainly in the city, and I don’t care much about it. When the red light started, few of them were faster than me.
As for the Harman Catton stereo, I don’t usually listen to music, and I don’t care much about it. Segmented panoramic skylight, well, I don’t open ordinary skylights very much. Is this really necessary? Leather seats, (19 models 530 or leather), this is a bit attractive to me, but imitation leather is also acceptable. My city is not very cold in winter, and it doesn’t matter if the seat is heated. Automatic braking and adaptive cruising, follow-up steering headlights, induction trunk, keyless entry, shift pick, rear seat adjustable, 525 is not available, it’s a pity, but it doesn’t hurt.
Car choice depends entirely on personal preferences, according to personal circumstances, do not follow the wind, but also respect the choices of others.
By the way, while I have a C5, I have added a golf car to my family. 1.4T golf, is really a small steel gun, start leverage, usually pick up children to buy a vegetable, parking is really convenient.
Now the big 5 and Xiao Gao in the family have a clear division of labor and perform their own duties.
Although the 5-Series chassis compromises to comfort, the sense of control is still excellent. The turn is very accurate, in sharp contrast to the large turning radius of the front car. ZF 8-speed gearbox shifts smoothly.
