Youaski-Dog Head BMW Crossing Ukraine 1-Impressions of Kiev

 August 18, 2024

Hello, everyone. Long time no see. Ukraine is also in a hot summer. Looking at the weather forecast, Ukraine has a high temperature of about 30 degrees. In the summer, my wife woke up from hibernation and took me on a self-driving trip around Ukraine. The difference this year is that we are not the only family on the road, but also took her best friend Lena to set out with us.

Originally, I was very comfortable to spend the summer in the yard at home. I planted a lot of trees this year, and the yard was lush and uncomfortable.

And Victoria, my kitten, walked with me in the yard.

Since I fell in love with planting trees, I watered the trees on time every afternoon. Do not have to work overtime, do not worry about ups and downs, do not worry about betrayal, physical and mental emptiness, as long as careful cultivation will be able to grow a green, this is the charm of plants.

Driving a drone to take a makeup photo of my yard in the sky, the path in the yard is actually a bit like the sign of Wuliangye, which makes me, a non-drinker, feel unbearable. Now we are digging a swimming pool in the yard and building a wooden villa for my parents. I have to worry about the construction site every day in addition to work. I really should have a rest.

No matter how tired I am, I feel full of achievement when I see the plants I have cultivated in the yard every day. My wife once suspected that she had married a gardener and asked me if Chinese people like to plant trees and vegetables. Do Chinese people naturally bring their own attributes of opening up wasteland? Ask for the popularization of science, because I was not interested in it at all before, but I fell in love with it after I had a yard.

There is some magic color in the yard at night. I hope that after we leave, the automatic sprinkler will not be lazy.

When we packed our bags, our best friend and was on her way.

The setting sun shines on his wife’s beloved 5 series, reflecting the light of a bumper harvest.

The sun set and passed by a sunflower seed field. It was spectacular. We had just started our journey, but the girls didn’t have time to hurry and got out of the car to take pictures.

Ukraine is one of the largest sunflower producing areas in the world, and the spectacular sea of flowers can be regarded as one of the wonders of Ukraine.

Sincerely invite everyone to Ukraine to eat melon seeds, who finished eating this piece of melon seeds, we will give him dumplings to eat.

A piece of melon seeds is not enough to eat, and there is endless wheat opposite. I seem to smell the fragrance of steamed bread.

Of course, every time my wife’s car is on the road, we can’t do without the escort of the two firewood dogs in the car. Once the security guard in the parking lot thought it was a real dog.

Give 5 series a makeup photo as soon as you hit the road. It’s up to you all the way. I hope you don’t fall off the chain.

My wife Da Shamei could not restrain the impulse of the sea of flowers and rushed to have a good time.

Unexpectedly, I was seduced by sunflowers just out of town. I was very worried about our itinerary, but my wife didn’t care, who let her drive?

She and her best friend Lena were really unpretentious and hugged together for joy, but I watched the sun set soon, and we didn’t leave yet, and we all had a heart to cry. Really answer that sentence, three people walk, there must be me wet Yan.

None of them can be missing. Take pictures of your wife and best friends. They all pose like models, but no one looks at the time.

To make matters worse, Dasha was still in the mood for a dress and went to the sunflower field to take a close-up. Who told me to ride in my wife’s car, so I had to follow my orders and come out with them. I became a photographer in seconds.

But the effect is good, in this sunflower set off, the skin is particularly good-looking.

Too intoxicated, feel smelled this flower fragrance, can understand the sunflower treasure book immediately, instantly experience the pleasure of wielding a knife from the palace.

Spread your hair, beauties and sunflowers, what an amazing landscape this land has given birth to.

I thought it was over, but I saw the lush wheat again.

When you step on high heels, you must come in and inspect the bumper crops.

We’ll wait here for you to steam the steamed bread.

Even the two grandmothers who coaxed and cheated finally hit the road, along the beautiful scenery, also let me forget the trouble that the sun is about to set.

Passing through a small town, it has just rained, here to see a double rainbow, I hope it is a harbinger of the success of our journey.

It’s already 9:30 in the evening, and the sun sets very late in summer in Ukraine.

On the way from Kharkov to Kiev, we passed the city of Poltawa. Unexpectedly, as soon as we entered the city, we came across the worst road on the way. When we crossed the pit, our car directly had a flat tire. The cars parked on the side of the road had flat tires, and for the first time I saw the spectacle of many cars with flat tires in the pit.

The most exasperating thing is that one of our tires directly burst, the other tire is also bulging, it is difficult to see the double rainbow on the road is now the fate of the twins?

We found a 24-hour tire repair shop not far behind the pit, and it seems that they were all prepared in advance.

Even the dogs in the store seem to be no surprise, because there are at least 10 cars waiting to repair tires outside the door, and there is no shortage of luxury cars, and behind us is a Mercedes-Benz S and Lexus 570. It seems that no car can bear the routine of that hole.

The tire mending worker is very professional and will be ready in a minute. Because we have a flat tire, we can only temporarily buy two second-hand tires from his store, and the labor cost of changing the tire is only 10 yuan. It seems that it is common for them to have a flat tire every day in this city, so they can keep the price down so cheaply.

Change the tire and wash the car to go to bad luck, this set is finished already more than 1: 00 in the morning. We have to go. I didn’t drive to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, until more than 3: 00 in the morning. Go to bed.

Kiev, the capital, is the birthplace of Slavic culture.

Kiev’s “sell crotch” square is the center of Ukraine.

The previous square revolution also caused a sensation all over the world. But now Ukraine, like this pillar, still lives firmly on the earth.

After driving all night, Dasha and Lena finally arrived in the capital of their motherland. After last night’s shock, they recovered early this morning.

We came to the capital of Kiev, where we began our self-driving trip around Ukraine for the three of us.

Behind is the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music, where Lena is now studying. She is not too embarrassed to ask her to sing a song in front of her alma mater. If my wife hadn’t met me, she would probably continue to practice bel canto here now. This is the top music hall in the world.

Kiev has just finished the Champions League final and the football is still hanging in the square.

The Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music costs $8000 a year, making it the most expensive school in Ukraine.

The square is surrounded by buildings on the other side of the square. Many people have heard from Ukraine that there is a war here, but it is hearsay that it is now much safer than Western European countries, and there are no refugees. The people here are more innocent.

With that, it began to rain. We didn’t take umbrellas, so we had to hide in the subway.

After the rain stopped, we walked to the front of Michel Cathedral, the most famous church in Kiev. The girls went home to change their clothes so as to brighten the beautiful city.

When I took a group photo, I met a very unrestrained foreign man, and when I saw a beautiful woman, I came up to talk to him. It seems that the shameless degree of foreigners has gone straight to five stars.

But the result is also very neat, by the two girls of a “get out”, boom far away, boring.

Let the two of them high themselves.

The red sling and the blue sky and blue walls make the red more gorgeous.

The two sisters seemed to agree that the same red dress became the highlight of the whole square.

In Ukraine to enter the church, girls are required to wear headscarves, there are a lot of rules, women come to the period can not enter the church. If we don’t wear headscarves today, we won’t enter the church.

The golden blue wall on the church spells out the national flag of Ukraine.

When I walked into the tour, I was surrounded by many locals to see if the dress was too red and eye-catching.

Into the church, it is still a national flag color.

With a blue sky, it’s like worship in heaven.

It is said that sprinkling dog food here can also be blessed by God.

The eight eggs, the national heroes in front of Sophia Cathedral, have been standing here for hundreds of years.

The buildings next to the church make people feel that Europe is basically like this.

Continental Hotel in Kiev, the legendary room of 20, 000 euros a night is here, and there are only sausages and eggs for breakfast.

The parliament building in Ukraine, where meetings are held to determine the future of the country.

There are a lot of cars parked outside, as if there is really some important meeting.

Beauty, stop taking pictures. The meeting will begin soon.

No, you have to put on make-up at important meetings before you can get in.

All right, now I declare the meeting adjourned.

Turn left from Michelle Church to Andre Slope, and you can see Andre Church. Kiev is the mother of cities, full of places to pray.

The white clouds behind set off the church like a portal in Wonderland at this moment.

On the Andre slope, the most popular are all kinds of old cameras, which are much cheaper than film.

Sure enough, the Andre slope is sloping, and it takes a lot of skill to wear high heels downhill here.

The whole street is filled with the smell of the last century and is the most beautiful street in Kiev.

There are down-and-out painters selling paintings on this street.

It is said that both sides of the street were once full of legends such as painters, musicians, writers and so on. Living in such a legendary street does inspire a lot of creative inspiration.

Like this half-naked god, I saw him rubbing between his legs in the distance, and I misunderstood that he was a porn tramp. A closer look, it turned out to be polishing wood carving, it is estimated that he is relying on such a slutty way to attract customers.

Red-clad Dasha walked through this forest of oil paintings, and this beautiful moment may provide a good idea for painters on the side of the road.

This is the hero who painted the whole building in this magical style, which is out of place in the architectural complex of the last century.

It took us about an hour to walk the small steep slope covered with stones.

Both Dasha and Lena cross the street like walking on the catwalk, domineering and domineering.

The back bus was directly converted into a coffee shop and drank wherever it went, which is very much in line with the national character of the Ukrainian people.

Under the slope, a new Ferris wheel has been built between the statue and the church, reminding the people of Kiev that more than a decade has passed since the 21st century.

Many young people under the Ferris wheel were dancing to the music in the square, and Dasha seemed to be unable to bear it.

It doesn’t seem that the body can’t resist the temptation of music at all, swaying heartily with the drums. Ukrainians really have a high sense of happiness. As long as they have a piece of music, they can live happily.

However, it is no wonder that the house price in central Kiev is only 1000 US dollars per square meter, and the most expensive one is 3000 US dollars, which is also cheap in Europe. In addition, consumption here is not expensive, although the economy is depressed, but people can still live a heartless life.

Under the Ferris wheel is a gourmet street, and barbecue occupies most of the stalls. But now I don’t eat meat anymore, so I don’t go in there and feel uncomfortable.

Mother Mountain, she is a symbol of the determination of the people of Kiev to defend the motherland.

Looking at the Dnieper River in front of us is the symbol of the city of Kiev.

It is said that the mother’s seven sons died on this battlefield during World War II, and the mother is here to remember her son. The fact that 27 million people died in the Soviet Union during World War II shows how many poor mothers were looking forward to the return of their children, which explains why there are now more women and fewer men in Ukraine’s older group.

The tanks parked here during World War II are now props for children to play with, and used to be an artifact to defend the country. The huge statue of Mother Mountain conveys the exploits of the martyrs, all of which reflect the former glory of the country. Although this land is experiencing a temporary trough, it is brewing a better future.

The mother of the motherland, completed in 1967, was the tallest statue at that time and is now the tallest secular statue. The mother of the motherland held the sword high in her right hand and clenched the shield in her left hand, making an oath to the death that he could advance and retreat.

When she came to Kiev, Dasha did not forget her study and work. Her own interest in medicine, coupled with the preparation for her second child, came to the hospital to communicate and study with the doctor. The high-end maternity hospitals in Ukraine seem to be the same as the lobbies of five-star hotels, which makes me completely out of line with ordinary state hospitals.

But unexpectedly, I saw a lot of Chinese people in the hospital. When they saw us coming in, they even recognized us and took out their mobile phones to take pictures. In recent years, test-tube medicine in Ukraine has become so popular in China that a hospital can handle thousands of Chinese couples a year.

Dasha is a native who comes to the hospital and there are a lot of people who don’t understand, not to mention the Chinese. As a Chinese wife and mixed-race mother, Dasha started her own business and set up a medical consulting team for Ukrainian IVF, working with the best hospitals in Ukraine to provide voluntary counseling, legal support and a series of help to Chinese families who came to Ukraine as IVF babies. Unexpectedly, at her age, she wants to start a business and support her family. I can rest assured that I can retire early.

I did not expect that the private hospitals in Kiev were clean and tidy, and the national hospitals could not reach this level. The little sisters of the staff at the front desk smiled so cute.

After staying in Kiev for one night, I feel that the residential buildings in Kiev are very similar to those in China, but it is obviously not cost-effective to rent a house in Kiev. Two-bedroom accommodation costs 350 yuan a night, and it is not in the city center, and it is very tight. The annual rate of return on renting here is more than 8-10%.

The house price in Kiev is between $700 and $3000. A house of $1000 per square meter is more common and has an inner area. The rental price is about the same as that in China. The monthly rent for a house of 50 square meters is about 400-700 US dollars. The graffiti of buildings in Kiev are very artistic, and this is one of my favorite. Every time I pass by, I will be infected by the little boy’s smile.

St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Kiev is one of the buildings I remember most in Kiev.

Unlike the Catholic church, this Gothic building reminds me of the story of vampires and stone statues playing hide-and-seek in the castle.

Such a maverick building, it always feels like he doesn’t belong here.

The luxury residence of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, now the villa has become Ukraine’s anti-corruption museum and the most beautiful park in Kiev, with tickets of $5 to enjoy the president’s life. Every time I come to Kiev, I come here to dream of being president for half a day.

The mansion includes artificial lakes, summer villas, golf courses, private zoos, docks and helipads, which shocked local visitors.

Cycling is available throughout the presidential palace, and cycling is probably one of the only activities that the president did not expect.

Lena’s black leather jacket with a white bike gives people a lukewarm embarrassment, and people with obsessive-compulsive disorder must have forced her to put on her pants.

Leather jacket is to ride a bike to protect the wind, but in fact, the weather is very hot, wearing short skirts is for better ventilation and heat dissipation.

Grasping the skirt is to better reduce the wind resistance.

We rode a two-person bike, and Dasha couldn’t control the direction, so she was in charge of the output all the way.

This is not a car show, it is actually a private garage, where all the antique luxury cars collected by former President Yanukovych are here.

Did not expect that no matter how fast the sports car ran as fast as the former president, the seat was overthrown before the seat was firmly seated, and the president could not make the decision.

The presidential version of Big G, right?

Lena’s purple skirt seems to be more suitable for this Mercedes-Benz aura.

She is the show girl of Mercedes-Benz.

It is surprising that there is such a strange meditating monkey in the presidential palace, with a green punk hairstyle, which brings a very unfriendly impression.

The wooden residence of the presidential palace is one of my favorite designs.

Now I’m building a wooden villa in my yard, but it’s not nearly as cool as the president’s, but I’m glad I don’t have to worry about running away and spend my hard-earned money on a down-to-earth basis.

The presidential palace covers an area of about 140 hectares, equivalent to half of Monaco, which is 466 times larger than my 0.3-hectare yard, but even with such a large yard, I may not be able to afford to hire so many gardeners.

So living in my own house and occasionally dreaming at the president’s house is a long-term choice for ordinary people.

The statue of white marble has been a little blackened by the girls. Please wash your hands before indecent assault.

Dasha drove us to the Olympic Stadium in Kiev just to show the dog’s head.

Take these two dog heads along the way, rain or shine, so that they can experience the prosperity of the world.

From this point of view, it really looks like a dog driving. We all kindly call Dasha’s car a dog-headed BMW.

Lena crouched on the ground, quietly watching her best friend take pictures.

Here we go, dog head BMW five consecutive shots.

Second beat.

Be playful.

I can’t believe you can park your car here in front of the Olympic Stadium.

We didn’t expect to drive directly in. When we played the Champions League, it was crowded and heavily guarded.

Real Madrid won three consecutive championships here a few days ago.

Lena finally couldn’t help it and came up with some pictures. Ukrainian girls are born models, and they start as soon as they stop there.

The short skirt goes with this BMW. I like the charm of her short skirt and bike better.

If you think life in Kiev is just like that, there’s nothing to see, or if you think you’re living well and don’t know where to show off, I suggest you come to this place and have a look at the nuclear-leaked Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

On April 26, 1986, a nuclear reactor exploded at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Pripyat, Ukraine, the Soviet Union. If you want to make a living, you always have to be green on your head. this sentence is perfect for Chernobyl, where there is invisible green everywhere, not from Lao Wang next door, but from radiation.

This is the worst nuclear accident in history. The radiation dose released by this disaster is more than 400 times that of the Hiroshima atomic bomb during World War II. Now 32 years later, although the nuclear radiation has not been completely eliminated, it has become a tourist attraction with a steady stream of tourists. Come for a visit, and each person needs a ticket of $110. It is true that the so-called rely on the mountain, rely on water to draw water, rely on radiation to eat radiation.

In order to prevent contamination with nuclear dust, we also put on protective clothing. Chernobyl is actually green, no different from an ordinary forest, but when wearing this white skin, the whole mood seems to be shrouded in radiation panic, feeling that it is difficult to breathe.

The first stop was an abandoned kindergarten, a dilapidated room with bedstead and dolls that used to be inhabited by children, which at first glance gave me a kind of oppression in the throat.

Looking at the broken doll, it is easy for me to think of the children suffering from radiation struggling with the devil.

Toys that lose their eyes also reflect children who have lost their sound bodies due to radiation, which makes me shudder.

The shabby bookshelves and the papers scattered all over the place seemed to hear the screams of fleeing after the explosion.

In this narrow window, you can see the passage connected with the outside world, which seems to be life, but people at that time seem to realize that there is already a sea of fire outside the window, and both inside and outside the house have long been occupied.

The dome-shaped building is the exploded No. 4 reactor, and the semicircular sarcophagus now costs Ukraine hundreds of millions of dollars to maintain it every year.

The closer I get to the sarcophagus, the more oppressed I feel, and I feel that every breath of air is interspersed with gamma rays, which is why I pull the protective clothing on my nose, at least as a psychological comfort.

But in fact, the radiation here is now very low, generally around 0.3, which is less than the radiation on the plane. My wife thinks it doesn’t matter. She doesn’t have any protective measures on her head.

I was about to leave when there was a gust of wind, which bulged my protective suit and made me shout for a nuclear storm.

Of course, the sarcophagus is not allowed to enter, we can only go into the back of the work and living area to see what it looks like after the place where more than 600,000 people used to live suddenly became an empty city.

There was a notice on this loudspeaker that everyone was asked to evacuate that year.

The shape of the tree, like a woman lying on the sofa, did not wake up when the radiation occurred, was directly eroded by the radiation, retained the previous appearance, and now has become a tree man.

This is actually the design of the former Soviet Union, but this logo seems to show me the elements of Mayan civilization.

This is the old hotel, looking at the glass, it seems to be the place of high-end activities in the past.

After the building was empty, there was graffiti on the wall of the scene of the big bear moving with the little bear. At that time, people still knew to move out, but the animals had to wait unknowingly to die.

In the ruins, I find it ironic that the portrait of the leader of the former Soviet Union is still so complete.

The swimming pool at Chernobyl is a famous scene. I have been here countless times during the call of Duty. This time, I am so familiar with the corridor and route.

Dasha looked as if she had lost her breath in this protective suit.

There is also an indoor football stadium in the swimming pool, and the rope is not used to hang himself, but to practice gymnastics.

In the theatre more than 30 years ago, after the building was empty, only a few ghosts were left in their seats and refused to leave.

The smiling faces of children can still be seen vaguely on the bumper car, but this human disaster has taken away all the laughter here.

Chernobyl’s Ferris wheel is a star attraction here, but also because of the call of mission, as well as eating chicken, many people have been here in the game.

This is also my most memorable place, after more than 30 years, the Ferris wheel can still turn.

We carry radiation detectors with us, and the machine beeps at any time to reflect the intensity of radiation. Under the Ferris wheel radiation jumped to more than 9, although the radiation in the air is very low, but in plants, metal, ditch radiation is still very strong, so try not to touch anything here.

When Dasha was born, it had been many years since the nuclear accident, and my father-in-law was an engineer at the largest nuclear power plant in Ukraine, so Dasha was very familiar with the environment here. She felt that it was very similar to the place where she grew up. It’s just abandoned.

The gas masks all over the room and the book really startled me and felt that there were still traces of activity, but it was actually a deliberate display that made it easier for visitors to think of the horrors of radiation in the past.

The mask on the ground is like white bones all over the floor, and there is a doll in the lower left corner that is not completely rotten, which makes my heart close to my back.

The design of this TV set can be directly used in horror movies. If something moves at this time, I must be scared and run away.

When I stayed on the road, I saw a wild fox in Chernobyl. Bony, she unexpectedly came to us to ask for food. It seems that she is lucky to be able to survive under the support of the current tourism economy.

Long-range warning radar is an over-the-horizon radar built by the Soviet Union during the Cold War, and its peak power is as high as 10MW. There are so many legends about this radar that many people call him Lightning Storm, saying that he can change the atmospheric environment and control weather changes, but it is true that Europe is much warmer than before.

The pulse percussion sound emitted by this Soviet radar can be heard in the shortwave band all over the world, because he can search all the hot spots in the world, so it is impossible to tell which missile is launched by the United States, so this radar does not play its original role. This radar is also known as the pesky “Russian woodpecker.” In fact, it is also a good use to make him into a big Wi-Fi in Ukraine.

There is a disaster memorial in Chernobyl, and the sight of a winged stroller flying slowly into the sky makes everyone cry. The suffering caused by the catastrophe is indelible after many years.

If you take a bus from Chernobyl, you have to go through radiation tests. If you exceed the standard, you will be forced to take off your clothes, and if you exceed the standard, you will be banned from coming out. Is not very scary, but generally as long as do not touch local things, radiation will be in the normal standard, will not be left behind.

After coming out, a “nuclear package” will be included in the Chernobyl itinerary, which will also make people full before leaving.

In the face of this catastrophe, everyone has experienced such a painful ordeal, and everyone has struggled with the invisible devil, which makes it hard for people living in happiness to imagine what those people experienced at that time. Although many people have escaped, the physical torture has never stopped, because there are a variety of sequelae caused by radiation, some people lose teeth, some people mutate. Therefore, after coming out from here, no matter what the current life is not satisfactory, how difficult it is, it makes people grateful for the peace of our life now. If you feel that you are not satisfied with your life, I suggest you come here and experience the fears of that era. When you come out, you will feel that everything is so good that the immediate difficulties are not worth mentioning at all.

Our car slowly left, leaving behind a statue of Lenin. With this empty city, we continue to witness the meaning of life for living mankind in history.

That’s all for this issue of Youaski. Our video version will be released in a few days to continue to introduce you to our life in Ukraine. Later, we will visit the coastal city of Odessa and the ancient city of Lviv. Thank you for watching.
