Q
what company makes saturn vehicles
I'm a seasoned industrial engineer with a keen interest in machine learning. Here to share insights on latest industry trends.
Saturn vehicles were produced by Saturn Corporation, a subsidiary of General Motors (GM), established in 1985 with a mission to create innovative cars that could compete in the small-car marketplace. It operated somewhat independently within GM, with its assembly plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Saturn aimed to distinguish itself with a unique dealership experience and a no-haggle pricing strategy. Despite initial success, it faced challenges in the competitive auto industry, leading to declining sales. In 2009, as part of GM's restructuring process during its bankruptcy, the Saturn brand was discontinued, and its remaining assets were sold or absorbed by GM.
