Jaguar vehicles are owned by Tata Motors, an Indian automaker. The company bought Jaguar from Ford in 2008.
In a diesel engine, the fuel is ignited differently than in a gasoline engine. There are no spark plugs. Instead, air is drawn into the cylinder and compressed by the piston, significantly increasing its temperature. When the air is highly compressed and at a high temperature, diesel fuel is injected into the combustion chamber. This very hot compressed air ignites the fuel spontaneously. This process, known as compression ignition, is fundamental to how diesel engines operate, producing power more efficiently and effectively under certain conditions compared to gasoline engines.
In a diesel engine, the fuel is ignited by the heat generated through the high compression of the air inside the engine cylinder, not by a spark plug as in a gasoline engine. This process is known as compression ignition.
Gas stations and filling stations offer tire inflation services. Auto repair shops also offer this service. If you have a portable air compressor at home. you can fill your tires yourself.
