The designation "Commercial Vehicles Only" commonly refers to parking spaces, road lanes, or routes explicitly reserved for vehicles that are used for business purposes. This includes trucks, vans, buses, or any vehicle used for transporting goods or passengers for profit. The restriction is put in place to streamline traffic flow, enhance safety, and allocate appropriate space for larger or specialized vehicles that require more room than personal vehicles. For businesses, adhering to these designated areas or routes is crucial for compliance with local regulations and avoiding potential fines. This distinction also helps in organizing urban planning and traffic management, by segregating commercial and personal vehicle traffic to improve overall efficiency and safety on the roads.

Putting gasoline in a diesel engine can cause significant damage due to differences in ignition methods. Diesel engines compress air to high temperatures to ignite diesel fuel, whereas gasoline engines use spark plugs. Gasoline in a diesel system disrupts this process, leading to inefficient combustion. Short-term, you might notice poor engine performance and smoke. If not resolved quickly, the improper fuel can damage the fuel pump, injectors, and other components due to gasoline's lower lubricity and different combustion properties. To prevent extensive damage, it's paramount to drain and clean the fuel system immediately after realizing the mistake. Operating the vehicle with gasoline in the diesel tank should be avoided to minimize mechanical harm and expensive repairs.
