This gives you the size of the engine, which plays a big role in how much power an engine can produce, but it doesn’t directly translate into a simple horsepower rating. Other factors like fuel delivery, air intake, exhaust system, mechanical efficiency, ignition system etc., also play significant roles in the horsepower output.
