As of my last update in April 2023, there is no production car on the market powered by a V24 engine. Engine configurations in production cars typically range from inline-3s up to V12s for the most exotic supercars. The V24 engine, often featuring in discussions more for its theoretical application or custom projects, remains an engineering curiosity rather than a mainstream reality. Large engines with so many cylinders are more common in industrial or marine applications, where their high power output and torque are essential. In the automotive world, engineering constraints, cost considerations, efficiency demands, and the pursuit of reducing emissions make a V24 engine impractical for mass production. Automotive enthusiasts may dream of or even hand-build such engines for custom vehicles, but for now, the V24 remains a fascinating “what-if” in the realm of car engineering.
