2024-05-31 08:44:47 The Shanxi Province Department of Ecology and Environment announced on the 29th that it plans to approve the comprehensive utilization project of Hejin City Zhengfan Technology Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 130,000 tons of special carbon black and 150,000 tons of coal tar fine processing. The project is planned to be built in Hejin Economic and Technological Development Zone in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province, with a total investment of up to 985 million yuan.
According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, the project will build a 50,000-ton/year rubber carbon black production line and a 22,000-ton/year medium pigment carbon black production line, and be equipped with corresponding carbon black tail gas power generation boilers, steam turbines and generator sets. There are also two medium pigment carbon black production lines with production capacity of 38,000 tons/year and 16,000 tons/year respectively, and are also equipped with efficient power generation systems. The project also includes 4 gas-mixed high-pigment carbon black production lines, each with an annual production capacity of 1000 tons, and a coal tar fine processing production line with an annual output of 150,000 tons.
In terms of production process, the project uses the furnace method combined with the wet granulation process to produce rubber carbon black and medium pigment carbon black, while the gas-mixed high-pigment carbon black is produced using the combination of the gas-mixed method and the dry granulation process.
