Pininfarina expects revenues to double to $1 bn in 3-5 years

The company is exploring opportunities in railroads, real estate and infrastructure development, Angoli said.

“The Mahindra Group has provided us with financial stability and guided us to unlock our huge potential,” said Angoli.
He added that the two companies share common values and creative principles that have helped Pininfarina grow.

On synergies with Tech Mahindra, he said Pininfarina Tech takes care of the physical design and Tech Mahindra takes care of the digital part of the work.
“There is no other company in the world that has the capabilities that we have,” Angoli said.
A few months later, at the end of 2015, the Mahindra Group announced the acquisition of Pininfarina, negotiated at a total cost of more than 50,000,000 euros.
